GKCU Plastics Conversion

We have some exciting news coming soon to your wallet. As part of our plastics conversion, GKCU will begin the process of issuing new credit cards to members on April 10, 2026. Your new card will be mailed directly to you in the same month in which your current card expires (i.e. if your current card expires in September, no matter what year, you will get your new card in September).

The best news is your new GKCU VISA credit card will now be a contactless “TAP” card that will give you additional security and convenience when using your card. In addition, your card will have the same great features including:

*Accepted anywhere VISA is taken

*Same credit card number (just a new expiration date)

*Same, low, fixed-rate with no annual fees or maintenance fees

*Existing UChoose Rewards will carry over to your new card and our new points program, CU Rewards.

It is also a great time to inquire if you are eligible for a credit limit increase. Simply stop by any GKCU branch and talk with a loan officer to see how you can earn the most from the credit you deserve.
